Directors Nicholas and Isaac personally oversee every project, they have carefully partnered with some of the largest names in the industry to ensure the design, craftsmanship, liveability and overall building experience is perfect from conception to completion.

Nicholas Growcott

Nicholas has grown up around construction, with his father arguably Christchurch’s best architectural builder. For almost a decade Nicholas has been working as a licensed building practitioner (a builder!) on some of Christchurch’s most sought-after homes.
Growcott Freer Property has grown from Nicholas’ love for the property industry and how fulfilling it is to see families move in to their new home.

Growing up Isaac always loved helping his dad with the day to day business of his commercial property portfolio. Isaac trained and worked as an electrician for seven years, however always had a pull to get involved in property development. Nicholas and Isaac have been life-long friends and in their respective trades have been lucky to work closely together throughout their careers to date. With a shared vision, the conception of Growcott Freer Property was an obvious one.

Vaughan was a natural fit for the General Manager role, overseeing the day-to-day running of Growcott Freer Property. Vaughan brings a unique wealth of building industry knowledge and first-hand experience to the team.
Over the last 10 years Vaughan has worked closely with Nic and his father John in his bespoke building company. He always appreciated Nic’s work ethic, craftsmanship and interpersonal skills first as an apprentice, then builder and foreman.
Vaughan’s supply chain expertise and ability to wear many different hats has seen him facilitate high-end materials and services to countless award-winning architectural builders and construction companies. This experience has shaped his passion for calmly and quickly ”making things happen” on each of our projects.

John Growcott
Operations Manager
John Growcott established his own construction firm J H Growcott Builders in 1986, over the last four decades John has built some of New Zealand’s finest bespoke architecturally designed homes.
His need for perfection, eye for detail and impeccable craftsmanship made John the obvious choice for Growcott Freer Property’s Operations Manager position.
John is responsible for implementing and executing inspections and evaluations on every single Growcott Freer Property home to ensure they meet not only NZ building code but also Nic and Isaac’s exceptional high standards.
